Roswell Fais do do! ~ November 15, 2017
The Voilà Foundation presents a cajun tradition called "Fais do do" (pronunced fay doe doe). A cajun dance party that includes a lot of good eating and a lot of good music!
The name comes from the French phrase that translates "go beddy-bye." Young cajun mothers would gently whisper "fais do do" to their babies trying to coax them to sleep. Momma wants her baby asleep as fast as possible so daddy won't have time to dance with anyone else!
Join us Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Houck’s Grille - 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Houck’s full menu will be available. Music will be provided by Reckless, an amazing cover band playing a variety of high energy 80s hits, 90s rock, today's country and some popular surprise dance songs in between.
Limited tickets will be available soon and the $15 advance - $20 at the door cover charge is totally tax-deductible (because it’s a donation to The Voilà Foundation.) Come pass a good time y'all!
Roswell Youth Day Parade ~ Saturday, October 14, 2017
The Voilà Foundation is extremely pleased to participate in the 67th Annual Frances MacGahee Youth Day Parade. Since our annual fundraiser benefits organizations that focus on children ... having a float in this parade makes perfect sense! Bring the whole family out on Saturday, October 14th and support the youth of North Fulton and "pass a good time, y'all!"
